BRISBANE, QLD – The wait is finally over for Queensland’s youngest recruits. Delta Force Paintball Brisbane (Petrie) has officially announced the launch of MiniBall, a high-octane, low-impact experience specifically designed for kids aged 8 to 14.
While traditional paintball in Queensland is legally restricted to those 15 and older, the introduction of MiniBall changes the game. Using specialized pump-action markers and smaller, low-impact paintballs, MiniBall allows younger players to safely experience the adrenaline of the battlefield without the “sting” of the standard game.

What to Expect on the Field
Young warriors won’t just be shooting at targets in a field; they’ll be stepping onto the same world-class, movie-set game zones that have made the Petrie location legendary. The mission includes:
- Tomb Raider: Duck and weave around a giant 30-foot Egyptian Pyramid.
- Black Hawk Down: Defend a life-sized downed helicopter—a prop so realistic it has been used for military training.
- Resident Evil: Test your nerves in a zombie-infested graveyard.
- Tropic Thunder: Navigate the dense bush and huts of a Viet Cong village.
Safety as a Priority
Delta Force is world-renowned for its safety standards. Every MiniBall recruit is outfitted with:
- Full-Head Goggle Systems: Protection with anti-fog lenses for 360-degree visibility.
- Custom Body Armour: Padded vests designed to absorb impact.
- Padded Combat Suits: Full-length overalls with high “Dracula” collars to protect the neck.
Plan Your Mission
MiniBall sessions are perfect for high-energy birthday parties, youth groups, or family days out. Since Delta Force Brisbane does not offer onsite catering or pizza lunches, groups are encouraged to use the shaded, MAS*H-style Basecamp for BYO picnics and celebrations between games.
